Dr. George Noon was a junior resident under Dr. Salem at Baylor College of Medicine and served as Chief Resident in 1961-62. He is renowned for his extraordinary skill in performing surgery on Dr. DeBakey, treating a ruptured thoracic aortic aneurysm when DeBakey was 97 years old.
